Buckwheat Seed Bread

Makes: 1 standard loaf

 

Ingredients:

1 cup raw buckwheat

1 ¾ cups LLWF Nut Free Bread Mix

1 tbs baking powder

1 large tsp salt

3 eggs

1 ½ cup water

2 tbs apple cider vinegar

1 tbs olive oil

 

Apple and Cinnamon with Fruity Streusel
Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius and get your bread pan ready.

  2. Grind buckwheat until very fine in a blender then add to a large mixing bowl

  3. Add the bread mix, baking powder and salt to the same blender and blend until fine making sure not to over blend and great a dough

  4. Add the ground bread mix to the buckwheat and stir to combine.

  5. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to create a thick dough

  6. Spoon the mixture into the bread loaf pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes

  7. Once cooked, remove from the pan and let cool on a wire wrack.

  8. Loaf is fine to slice while hot. J

  9. Enjoy.

 

NOTES

  • If you don’t have a bread pan then line a loaf pan with baking paper.

  • Store in a cool dry spot in a container that can air so that it does not sweat.

  • You can also use buckwheat flour.

  • You can also use an oil of your own choice. Good choices are avocado and coconut oil
